Rock Mentors Program
Are you aged between 13 and 18 and want to be in a Rock band, write original music and do gigs?
Our Rock Mentors program is designed for intermediate/advanced players.
Whether you are an existing band that needs help or an individual who would like to join a band, this is the course for you.
Through an audition process we form bands based on age, skill, and musical interest .The band is then rehearsed and mentored by a professional musician giving them skills in how to rehearse effectively, use their equipment properly, how to play as a band, what their individual job is in a band, write original music and perform covers.
In the beginning bands start off learning a few covers to quickly get the band up and running for their first gig at the end of that term. After that we start adding their original music to their repertoire.
The Rock Mentors program is an excellent way for students to put into practise what they have learned through their tutors, and perform publicly.
