Kick Start Music Studios

Enrolment	1)	Enrolment is term by term. At the end of each term students/ parents must fill out a STUDENT RE-ENROLMENT FORM. These will be given out toward the end of each term and need to be handed back with your deposit no later than the date stated on the form.
Enrolment	2)	Deposits for re-enrolment are non refundable, and any lessons missed due to late cancellation will be charged for in full

Classes	1)	Kick Start Music Studios Ltd will take care to ensure that disruptions to class times and sizes are kept to a minimum.
		(a) All changes in either class size or lesson time will be discussed with the student/bill payer, and agreed upon before the change becomes effective.
		(b) In the event of a change in class size, resulting in an increase in each subsequent lesson price, the bill payer agrees to pay the difference in lesson price.
		(c) In the event of a change in class size, resulting in a reduction in each subsequent lesson price, Kick Start Music Studios Ltd agrees to refund the difference in lesson price for monies paid in advance, or, at the bill payer’s request, deduct the amount from the following term’s invoice
		(d) Grade books and grading examinations are an additional expense not included in the lesson price. It is compulsory for every student to have a grade book. Grading examinations are optional.
	2)	In the event of a tutor's absence, Kick Start Music Studios Ltd reserves the right to substitute the tutor temporarily or permanently. Any permanent changes will be advised in writing. .
	3)	Kick Start music studios Ltd reserves the right to add a “trial” student into a class for assessment for 1 class during any term without notice. This can happen a maximum of once per term.

Absenses	1)	There are no credits given for absences for students in Rock Star Minis, Rock Star Juniors or the Rock Mentors Program. Or lessons provided in public schools. For students in the Rock Academy program (drums guitar bass lessons) if notice of absence from a lesson is received before 10am the morning of the lesson you will be credited 50% of the lesson fee. If notice is given after 10am then the full amount of the lesson will be charged. Absentees must be rung through to Dave on 0800 762 563, please leave a message if no one is at the desk.
	2)	If a student is absent from their lesson more than twice during a term, the full fee will be charged from the third absence to the end of term whether Kick Start Music Studios Ltd receives notice or not.
	3)	Any credits received due to absences, will be subtracted from the following term's lesson fee. If the student is not continuing lessons the following term, the absence credits will be forfeited
	4)	Any lessons missed due to Kick Start Music Studios Ltd cancelling the lessons will be either: caught up at a later time in the term; or credited to the following terms lesson fees. If the student is not continuing with lessons the next term: a time for catch up lessons will be given at the discretion of; Kick Start Music Studios Ltd or a refund for the classes missed will be credited to the bill payer.

Student Behaviour	1)	Disruptive students who interrupt the class repeatedly with their unwanted behaviour, will not be tolerated.
Back to top	2)	Students will receive one verbal warning before being asked to finish the remainder of their lesson in the waiting area of, Kick Start Music Studios Ltd, Kapiti Road, Paraparaumu.
	3)	Parents will be informed of this behaviour, by phone, within 24 hours by a representative of Kick Start Music Studios Ltd.
	4)	In the event of missing lessons due to poor behaviour or expulsion, the bill payer agrees to pay for the remaining lessons in full, for the current term of the student.

Payments	1)	We accept cash, cheque, and Visa or Master Card. Payment must be made via the instructions of your invoice. All payments are due in full before the first lesson of the term unless otherwise organized with management.
	2)	Please address your payments to: Kick Start music studios Ltd Po Box 2221 Raumati 5255 Or Westpac Bank 03 0515 0502691-00 (Please include the invoice number or student's name as a reference) A students lessons will not start until either payment is received in full or in the case of APs or credit card payments Lessons will not Start until payments have started.
	3)	If payment is not received within the first week of lessons the student’s lessons will stop immediately until payment has been made. Lessons missed due to late payment will be charged to the bill payer at full price.
	4)	In case of non payment the bill payer will be responsible for all debt collection fees incurred.

Bonus Lessons		Not applicable to public school Classes
	1)	Parents who have 2 or more children enrolled with us in or instrument program included) will receive a bonus instrument lesson
	2)	Bonus lessons will be held in the first week of school holidays at Kick Start Music Studios discretion. There are no credits or catch-up’s for bonus lessons. If the bonus lesson is missed it is forfeited.
	3)	Offer only applies to instrument classes not to Rock Star mini’s or Junior classes, Rock mentors or public school lessons.
